Private police bill could unleash mercenaries on Michigan towns:
Arlan Meekhof introduced the bill but won't say who is pushing for it.
Since some of his support comes from the DeVos family [DeVos family, $54,500] and their son is Eric Prince of Blackwater private army fame. I'd say we could safely assume we know who is pushing for the bill.
Mr Meekhof also want help keep political donors secret [Against the right to know donors]
He doesn't really seem like the kind of guy you want running your freedom-loving democracy.
