Israelis pat themselves on the back; show that at least some around the world support them: Haaretz
Amazingly, the USA TODAY shows a different view: USA Today. Though they do skew the headline.
Since every protest cited is against Israel the headline could have read "Protests call for the end of the Israeli invasion" or "Protests around the world demand Israel Stop the aggression" but they choose to go with "Thousands across world protest Gaza violence." I guess this hints that Hamas is inflicting some violence and doesn't offend the Israelis.
At last count,.... Around 850 Palestinians dead, around 400 of these civilians, Thousands wounded, many more displaced and starving, all living in an Israeli open-air prison, then there are 14 Israelis killed, a few wounded, some by friendly fire.
The "Gaza violence" seems pretty one-sided to me.
The US media can do better
"End US support of the Israeli war machine!"
