The "settlements" are being built by the Israelis on Palestinian land that Israel took in the 1967 war. The Israeli's often push Palestinian land owners off of land they have occupied for years (decades? centuries?) to build in these settlements. The Israelis are basically stealing the Palestinian's land.
It is against international law to colonize land won in war. Most nations believe the settlements are illeagal. Most nations have called for a halt to settlement building. The Obama administration has called for a halt to settlement building.
But,...
The building goes on.
Here it is initiated and financed by an American businessman. It is always supported by the US taxpayer's gift of 3 billion per year aid to Israel.
the money should stop until Israel returns to the 1967 borders. Mr. Irving Moskowitz should stop supporting the settlements, move to Israel or go to jail for violating US foreign policy.
