A google search for the source leads to a lot of financial-black-helicopter-sites. [Google search - one Billion Armageddon bet]
Regardless, the point of the C&L post is that these earth-shaking investment bets need more transparency and I think that is correct. If we're going to keep score with dollars, we should at least know who all the players are.
