How The NRA Built A Massive Secret Database Of Gun Owners:
Gun owners tend to be afraid of registration because the database will make it easy for the government to round them up and take their guns. This NRA database makes it just as easy. If that day ever comes, the big,bad government will just make one stop, the NRA front door, and have the complete list.
Up until that day, the NRA will make a fortune selling the list to firms marketing to gun owners. Hell, for the right price, any self-respecting, capitalist, NRA leader would sell the list to the government. I guess it really doesn't matter, the NSA probably already has it.
