Jobs: Participation rate

I just don't see how the baby boom generation hitting retirement age is not the main reason for the recent participation rate decrease.

The participation rate started to rise around 1965 when the baby boomers were about 20 years old and just entering the job market. In 2010 they were about 65 and just starting to leave the job market and the participation started to fall. It looks like the mark of that generation to me.
