A gift to the Ds (Hillary) for 2016?
It should help keep the "Obama hates Israel" story quiet and take away one of the tools the R's use to wind up the bible-banger wing of the Obama haters. Could also help stop, or at least slow, the flow of Israeli lobby money to the R's. The Ds and Hillary get most of the money but a lot has been switching sides lately due to the Obama-Netanyahu feud.
