Mish is just being a grouchy old fart here.
We need more union representation in this country as power has moved too far to the big-business/capital side. If workers don't regain some power, all jobs will look like Walmart/Food Service or be contract jobs like Uber. Average wages at best. No benefits. crappy hours. Pay you own Social Security. No security.
Still this is stupid. Unions should spend more time helping members/workers be more productive, clean out bad employees, building a quality union work-force, etc. How about a union that can go to management and say that their employees are the best in the business and should be treated that way.
