Though each universal healthcare system is different, and of course none are perfect, they are leaner, more effective, and give their beneficiaries far more freedom of choice than the American system does. I think Americans know this, too: Most Americans support Medicare For All, including about half of Republicans, and polling has consistently shown that Americans dislike and fear their own healthcare system."
