- Predicting gas prices will rise with Biden in office.
- Thanking Trump for cheap gas
so I thought I'd take a look at what really happened.
Here are monthly gas prices since January 2014.
The story on gasoline prices during the Obama and Trump terms.
- They fell in the last few years of the Obama term.
- They went up slightly in the first couple years of the Trump term.
- Then went down for a bit only to go up a little in the last year.
Basically, they have been about the same since they fell in Obama's second term.
What to make of this?
- Gas prices may very well rise during the Biden term. who knows
- Trump did not give us cheap gas.
- Obama did not give us cheap gas
- Technology, a global oil glut, and falling demand gave us cheap gas.
