The US certainly doesn't want China in the middle east and even though Israel and the Saudis are playing nice right now and the claim is that these missiles are for the Iranian threat, I'm pretty sure the Israelis won't like the idea of the kingdom having a bunch of ballistic missiles that could be pointed at Israel in the future.

Still, Israel does it's share of working with China too.
