It takes two sides for corruption to work.
The government is one side. What is the other?
Big piles of money.
In the US those big piles of money are controlled mostly by big business and a few super rich folks. They are the other side of our government corruption.
You will never fix government corruption until you get control of those big piles of money that buy government officials.
Tax it away. Take it away. Whatever, but as long as big piles of money exist, governments will be corrupt.
