In his address, Lapid will explain that “separating from the Palestinians has to be part of the nation’s vision.”

'We need to say clearly," the former prime minister continued. "There is no place for another state between the Mediterranean and the Jordan River. Not just because of our right to the land but also because practically there is no chance of a diplomatic process with the Palestinians succeeding."
Yes. I would say there is no chance of the diplomatic process succeeding if Israel continues taking Palestinian land.
The reality though is the two state solution is dead.
The never-ending Israeli settlements (facts on the ground) have killed it.
One big democracy would be the way to go except that there are more Palestinians than Israelis so Israel won't stand for that.
So, Israel is stuck with a military occupation and the Palestinians seem destined to live in open-air prisons.
Oh, and from the second link above.
Abbas used the wrong finger.
