The fight isn't only about the Republican Party but who actually controls the Cult.
I've said for years that the Cult was really the Fox News cult and that Trump had just taken over leadership.
It started with conservative radio building a small base of believers. Fox News eventually took over leadership and became the full-on Republican propaganda network. When the Kenyan-Muslim usurper was elected, Fox created Tea Party, the birth of the Cult.
Trump took it over with his run in 2016. It was easy. He was a believer too, programmed by Fox. So, he said the same thing Fox had been saying. The same thing the Cult had grown to believe so they just got in line behind him.
So 2024 isn't just about control of the Republican Party but about who is going control and wield (and profit from) the Cult.
My money is on Fox.
They've already come out against Trump and with 24-7 propaganda should be able to pull the Cult back to their line.
The Party and the Cult may split and argue but when November 2024 rolls around Fox will have the Cult hating Democrats and voting for the Republican en-masse.
