 What does the Iran-Saudi Arabia truce mean for Washington’s standing on the global stage?

"Tehran faces international criticism for providing weapons to Russia to aid its invasion of Ukraine, continuing efforts to enrich uranium that could allow it to develop a nuclear weapon, punishing its people for taking part in anti-government protests and for escalating tensions with Israel. These are all items the U.S. has elevated on the world stage as an indictment of the Iranian government." 

The  "Escalating tensions with Israel" link takes us to an NBC article about an Israeli attack on Iran.

Iran says drones attacked military factory, in latest hint of shadow war with Israel

The Iranian defense ministry confirmed one of its workshop complexes had come under attack Saturday from a number of Micro Aerial Vehicles (MAVs), but said the complex’s air defenses had successfully repelled it.

A loud blast was heard at the military plant in Isfahan, but a security official said there were no casualties, Iranian state broadcaster IRIB said on its website Sunday.

So at NBC, an Israeli attack on Iran is really "Iran escalating tensions with Israel".

WTF.
