Crackpot history & the right to lie
I'd expect more defamation cases are on the way over the next few years. The right wingers in this country have grown up watching Rush, O-Reilly, Hannity, Tucker, Ben Shapiro and the other right-wing loudmouths scream whatever the hell they wanted, true or not.
It only makes sense that their viewers would think this is the way to hold a public discussion in 'Murica today.
