1. Lost the war hawks by pulling out of Afghanistan.
2. Lost the dirty-hippie-peace-niks by letting Israel bomb the shit out of Palestine.
but if he'd stayed in Afghanistan he would have lost the dirty-hippie-peace-niks and if he'd stopped supporting Israel's war he would have lost the war hawks and AIPAC.
It's just a No-Win situation when your support depends on a party made up of dirty peace loving hippies, War hawks, and large AIPAC contributors.
