While he lists the "real" causes as inflation that is still around and the administration trying to force EVs down everyone's throat.
Yep. There are good economic headlines.
Yep. Inflation is still around but moderating.
NO. EVs are not the problem. Maybe Mish's problem but not the cause of voters bad attitudes.
People are going to bitch about prices. It's in us. Hell my mom was still bitching that bread used to cost 5 cents on the day she died. People always bitch about the price of gas even though they never really have a clue about how prices have changed through the years. They usually just fall back to some number they like that is less than what they are paying now and bitch.
My main gripe is that there are bad headlines and stories around confusing people all the time. Most are propaganda from the opposition

Looks bad?
But... He conveniently left 2023 off his chart which shows wage growth outpacing inflation in 2023.

That ties the Moody US credit downgrade to Biden which is completely false.
The downgrade was due to the republican congress being unable to pass legislation to fund the government.The first image was on the front page. The second was at the top of the linked article.
