How many US politicians can you afford?
AIPAC has long managed a “balancing act.” On one hand: “Thwarting efforts to achieve peaceful coexistence between Jews and Palestinians in the Middle East.” On the other: “Retaining an identity as an establishment consensus group.”
AIPAC does so largely by funneling money and support to both Democrats and Republicans.

And of course there's Sheldon Adelson and his wife who have given hundreds of millions to US politicians, mostly Republicans, over the last few election cycles to maintain US support of Israel.
