Mark Penn is truly a "former Clinton Advisor" but he is basically a hired gun who wasn't invited back to Clinton's 2016 staff and eventually left the Democrats completely and apparently supported DeSantis at some point.
In an April 2023 op-ed, Penn outlined a path to victory for a presidential candidate to win through appeals to an educated, suburban base[78] and expressed hope for Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis, citing, among other things, a motivation to prevent Trump from becoming president again.
His wife is the the co-founder, Board President and CEO of No Labels which sounds as centrist, corporate and deep state as you can get.
The New Republic reported in 2023 that No Labels received major funding from Harlan Crow, a leading donor to Republican and conservative causes.
I don't think promoting what he say's as " a former Clinton advisor" is legit, "former Clinton advisor but now undercover Rich Guy conservative" might be better.
