Israel Launches Operation Rising Lion To Destroy Iran’s Nuclear Program
During their call on Monday, President Donald Trump reportedly told his Israeli counterpart, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, not to attack Iran, according to The Wall Street Journal. Israel’s public broadcaster Kan has separately reported that Israeli officials informed their American counterparts in advance, and their strikes were fully coordinated with the U.S. government.

Fox News is now reporting that President Trump was aware of Israel’s strikes in advance, but that he has denied any U.S. involvement. Trump has also insisted that he remains interested in a negotiated agreement with Iran over its nuclear ambitions.
