Trump's ICE

Trump plans to send ICE agents to airports to handle security from MONDAY amid government shutdown that's become a nightmare for spring break passengers

This probably won't happen as it sounds like normal Trump bullshit bluster.

But it what if it does?

It points out one of the big issues with ICE. Who really controls them? Are they Trumps private army? If so then they seem very dangerous, very SS in the NAZI way. 

I mean could Trump send them to the NY Times because he didn't like an article? Apple because he doesn't want them importing from a certain country? Could he send them to gas stations in a big city to force lower prices? Could he send them to arrest a governor?

I don't know but ICE would be a lot less threatening to the people of the US if they 

• couldn't wear masks.
• had to wear identifying clothing. 
• were held accountable when they fuck up. 
• Had to answer to Congress or each state rather than being thrown around like they the Village Idiots own personal army.
