Why do US politicians swear allegiance to any foreign county? Would we do this for Germany? England? France? Saudi Arabia? Japan? Iraq? I don't think so.
Why Israel? Because the Iraeli lobby pours money into our congess and US bible thumpers believe modern day Israel is the same Israel touched by god in their two thousand year old fantasy book.
