This chart shows that we side with Israel about 90% of the time while the rest of the world sides with them about 30-35% of the time, with the Middle East and African nations around 10% and the rest of the world in the 30% range. Does it make sense that the US and Israel are really in the right and rest of the world is always wrong?
If you disagree with your neighbor most of the time but the cop down the street always favors your neighbor, your probably not going to think much of the cop. Israel is the bad neighbor in the Middle East and we're the cop. Our support has empowered them and led to the US being hated in the region. Our support of Israel is probably our worst foreign policy screw-up since Vietnam.
