[Google Changes Search Algorithm, Trying to Make Results More Timely - NYTimes.com]

[Gmail Fail]

Over the last few months, I've been telling people they should sell their Google stock. They've just been screwing up a lot. Their instant search just mucks the process up, jumping to conclusions, changing what I've typed. On my phone, it's really slow as it hangs for a few seconds on the first few letters so it can compile the results. I turn it off but it seems to always come back on. Then there are the suggestion boxes popping up in the lower areas of the browser telling about search results. It's become irritating as hell. The Chrome browser is faster than IE but it takes too many clicks to clear history or bookmark a page and I still haven't figured out how to quickly send a page via my Outlook email, just a right click in IE. It seems like every time I look at the news page, the format or features have changed. The My Google home page seems to take longer to load. There's no single major problem and the service is free but still, I don't think they're getting better so it makes me wonder if they know what they're doing.
