Yeah, News organizations tend to suck.....
Fox News isn't the only problem in our media. At least Fox has a mission,... to make money by selling stuff to grumpy old people, evangelicals, and racists. They know who their market is and they create a product for them whether it pisses off other people or not. They make a product to keep "The Fox News Viewer" happy.
The rest of our news media outlets don't really have that option. They still see themselves a "News" organizations who don't have a target audience they want to feed. They're just trying to do "NEWS" for everyone. The problem is that real news with real facts, science and debate, will piss someone off on a daily basis. Over time they'll piss off too many people and lose market share which means losing revenue so they play nice with every side of a story by just letting them spout anything they want with no fact checking or comment so we get "No Bias News".
The "News" should stop trying to compete with "The Propaganda" but how do you stop "The Propaganda" from calling itself "News"?
